WELCOME

TO THE LITTLE LIGHTHOUSE

A world full of colours, lights, textures and sounds awaits your little ones, with our two sensory rooms to choose from – we aim to provide your babies and young children a safe space to explore their surroundings, expand their development and have so much fun through sensory play.

Our rooms are both designed fantastically and are both designed so differently! Giving you plenty of choice when you visit us and making sure your session is right for your child. With high quality equipment throughout with interactive boards, bubble tubes, fibreoptic lights, infinity walls, led tubes and so much more.

Our Sensory sessions are free play! These are non structured sessions which allow your child the freedom to explore till their hearts content – or until your time has finished!

ABOUT us

Sam at The Little Lighthouse

hey! I'm sam

Nat at The Little Lighthouse

hey! I'm nat

Hi All, I’m Sam. I am a Mum to little Reggie and co owner of the little lighthouse.

I have 13 years experience of working within the education sector, specifically working with children in the social system who had social, emotional mental health and behavioural needs. I have worked as a speech and language therapy assistant supporting young people on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.

I am so excited and lucky to be creating an environment where children and care givers can come, feel welcomed and have a positive experience – all whilst doing it with a great friend. Cant wait to meet you all!

Hey! I’m Nat, I am a mum to two children, Quinn & Theo and I am one half of the Little Lighthouse.

I have 12 years experience working with babies, children and young people – working as a TA in mainstream schools with bouncy and playful reception children; in residential care school, working with children with social, emotional and behavioural needs and helping them through their education and their emotional development. As well as this I moved on to work in the NHS as Nursery Nurse, working within A&E and  on a post natal ward – caring for families when most in need.

As well as this I am a mum to a SEN child. So I am all too familiar and understand the daily challenges that entails – day to day, activities, going out, interactions. I am a self taught Makaton user and I will try my best to bring this into The Little Lighthouse as much as I can. Wcan't wait to meet you!
